5th Grader take action with these examples
Last night we had 3 students go to the City Counsel meeting and speak on behalf of their exhibition topic, police brutality. The poor kiddos were there for over 4 hours before they got a chance to speak but they each did amazing. They presented a petition to the counsel about banning racial profiling in Des Moines. The video is LOOOONG but if you fast forward to about 4 hours and 56 minutes in you can see them speak.
The second group picture we have is the Pollinators from the Endangered Animals group
They planted prairie plants to help pollinators, such as bees, from becoming more endangered.
