Hubbell hosted another great field day.  The students participated in a number of events. K-2 participated in activities in the morning and 3-5 held running events in the afternoon.       

Hubbell Elementary School third grade student Tatum Long is the winner of the Outstanding Interpretation Award for a photograph she entered in a National PTA-sponsored art contest on the “Magic of the Moment.” Tatum’s photograph, “Skiing in Style,” is pictured to the left. A fifth grade shuttle relay team represented Hubbell at the Drake Relays with the help of PE teacher, Tom Swanson.  Representing Hubbell were Will, Antonio, Dajah, and Clara.

Hubbell School will celebrate 100 years of teaching with a retirement tea for Shirley Brunk(40 years), Melanie Griffith (37 years) and Mindy Neumann (23 years).  The Tea to honor the three retirees will be held in the HubbellSchool Library at  800 …
