It was a special reunion here at Hubbell Elementary School. After nearly 10 months in Kuwait, U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Joshua England made Hubbell his first stop upon returning to Des Moines. First day of school, August 23rd – Thursday
August 21, 4:30pm – 6:00 pm
Kindergarten Jump Start will be held at Hubbell on August 14, 15 and 16 from 8:30 am – 10:30 am
The new school hours are as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: Breakfast 7:15- 7:30 AM Class is from 7:30 AM -2:25 PM Wednesday: Breakfast 7:15- 7:30 AM Class is from 7:30 AM – 1:10 PM

The school bell times at Hubbell will change with the beginning of the 2018-19 school year. Our new start time is 7:30 AM and we will dismiss at 2:25 PM, with a 75 minute early dismissal on Wednesdays.
